Chosen are a selection of works that concomitantly obscure and render. Each of the artists presenting utilize a way of making where references are fragmented, collected, and then built from. Although there lacks significant material cross-over, it is tacitly encouraged that the dialogue revolves around surface complexities, and is manifested through similarities in processes of layering, reflection and repetition, ensuring the cohesion of the presentation is by intention. The viewer is considered as an active component in which the obfuscation and rendering process happens. Light and movement alter the way of seeing – ensuring participation as necessary to the overall discourse.
